This special release is from Douglas Laing?s Vintage series of blended malts. This whisky is from all Islay distilleries and has been maturing for at least 25 years. The nose has notes of beach rock pools and a smoky beach barbeque. On the palate there are sweet peat notes with black pepper and chimney smoke. To finish there are notes of bonfire ash, coal dust and charred meats. Limited to only 3,000 bottles worldwide.
