This seventh edition of the 'Icons of Wales' series is named for Rhiannon, Welsh Goddess of horses. The whisky has been matured in the finest Grand Cru ex-Sherry casks conveying spicy sweetness on the nose, with a hint of vanilla, berries, nuttiness, and marzipan. On the palate we find caramel, figs, more berries, frangipane, chocolate ganache and hints of coffee bitterness.
