The rarely seen Glen Spey distillery produces a classic Speyside style, though it is one of the rarer whiskies to see from the area. This new release from Cadenhead is selected from two hogshead casks combined, offering flavours of custard cremes, candy floss, peatnut butter and a contrasting note of pork crackling. A creamy texture on the palate carries a touch of coconut, dried banana chips and an unusual 'green' hint of green tea and wasabi. Bottled after 17 years of maturation at a natural cask strength.
