Another exciting release from the Knockdhu Distillery, after 24 long years maturing in a combination of ex American sherry oak and first fill ex Spanish sherry casks. of maturation this dram has developed a sweet and spicy Christmas cake note with a whiff of vanilla toffee and zesty lemon. On the palate the spiciness continues with hints of candied orange, runny honey and a developing leathery note. An absolutely stunning new bottling from this delightful Speyside distillery which just won a silver outstanding accolade at the International Wines and Spirits Competition this year.
