Adelphi 'Breath of the Isles' 2007 / 12 years old 58.7%

From a mystery distillery located on one of Scotland's whisky making Isles, this single cask from Adelphi comes from a refill ex-Oloroso hogshead cask. On the nose is a decadent aroma of salted honeycomb, dulche de leche, bog myrtle and tinned pineapple. The palate develops with crunchie bars, dried hay, bitter lemon and a peaty hearth with integrated peat smoke that finishes on a distinctive peppery note.
