Ma3 - Elements of Islay 55.2% 500ml

This release from the Elements of Islay range is from Bunnahabhain distillery and was distilled in 2004 and bottled at 55.2%. Burnt toast notes can be found on the nose, with buttered crumpets, banana and pineapple. The palate has a creaminess to it, with orange peel and macadamia nuts to start. The body of the palate has big peat notes, with gooseberry, honeydew melon and a salt-rimmed margarita. The finish is fresh with pine, vanilla and concentrated apple juice.
