Lagavulin 12 years old '17th Release' 56.5%

Unlike the more subdued 16 year old Lagavulin, the 12 year old is intense and uncompromising. Bottled at cask strength and offering a much stronger smoke and peat influence, it shows the more rugged and expressive side of the distillery. Sea-spray salty peat, citrus, cured smoky meats and a drying, spicy finish.
