Produced at the most notherly distillery in Scotland, this limited edition single cask bottling was laid down in 1996 at Highland Park. Bottled 21 years later by Douglas Laing & Co. the Laing's describe this whisky as earthy, woody and spiced, with charred wood, buttered toast and a citrus zest. A zing of rock-pool saltyness and sweetness (salted caramel or salt-water taffy) cuts through, making for those qualities that definite it as a classic Island single malt whisky.
