An exceptionally rare find from the Glenfarclas distillery, this 1978 vintage release was bottled from a 4th fill Hogshead cask (#661). After many years of use, this cask has a more subtle influence to play on the Glenfarclas spirit, gently developing during 40 years of maturation in the Speyside region. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 42.7%, just 156 bottles were yielded from the cask and only a very small handful of these are available for sale in New Zealand.
