From one of Speyside's oldest distilleries, this single cask, single malt from Glenfarclas has been bottled as part of their iconic 'Family Casks' series. It was distilled in 1977 and matured in a 4th fill Hogshead cask for over 40 long years before being bottled in the Winter of 2018, at it's natural cask strength of 44.6%. There are few distilleries in the world who have whiskies remaining from the 1970's, let alone bottling them from individual casks like this. An exceptional whisky four decades in the making, this is a beautiful gift for anyone celebrating a birthday or anniversary.
