Specially selected by the team at Whisky Galore for DramFest 2020, this limited edition GlenAllachie was bottled from a single ex-Rioja Tinto wine barrel. The tasting notes from Master Distiller Billy Walker describe a beautifully aromatic and perfumed nose: lush red berries, grape juice and dried fruit, with a touch of nutmeg. To taste, a sweet storm of heather honey, sultanas and barley sugar, cut with a lifting orange zest and rosehip flavour. To finish, the red berries return again, with gentle oak notes adding a woody warmth.
