PRODUCT DETAILS
Drawn from an ex-Bourbon hogsheads (previously fitted with new ends), this new arrival from Adelphi was selected from the Glen Elgin distillery. The nose is grassy initially with notes of almond and coconut muesli, honeysuckle, rosehip and a note of that classic kiwi invention, pavlova. On the palate there are 'soor plooms' (a sour Scottish candy), marzipan, oaty biscuits and well-cooked banana, finishes with salty custard slices. A clasically complex and intriguing whisky from one of Speyside's hidden gems.
