Craigellachie 'Old Malt Cask' 2006 / 12 years old 50%

From one of Speyside's most iconic villages, this single cask release of Craigellachie has been matured in a sherry butt for 12 years before being bottled by independent bottlers Hunter Laing & Co. Decadent aromas of chocolate, vanilla and ripe raspberries are followed by more red fruit, liquorice and another dollop of vanilla on the palate, leading on to a long sweet finish. A definite dram for desert this summer.
