This truly special Cognac comes to us from the Charpentier Distillery in the 'Petite Champagne' region. It has been matured by Cadenhead to the ripe old age of 40, and bottled at an astonishing 61.6% alcohol. Only 264 bottles are available worldwide.
On the nose we find a distant smokeyness, bacon, and gooseberry jam.
The palate is complex with toffee, butterscotch, and cinnamon.
the finish develops flavours such as vanilla, chorizo, and cigar boxes.
