Perched on the cliffs above the Scapa Flow in the Orkney Isles, the Scapa distillery is one of Scotland's most remote distilleries, and with sporradic production over the years, one of the more difficult to source. This new release shows the true distillery character: herbal heather-honey sweetness mingled with citrus, stewed tropical fruits and an elusive sea-spray salty feeling around the edges of the mouth when tasted.
