PRODUCT DETAILS
This independently bottled Laphroaig was distilled in 1998 and bottled at 53.9% after maturing in two ex-bourbon barrels. The nose is fruity and floral with peat, antiseptic, violets and black pepper notes. The palate has the expected notes of peat, along with grapefruits, melon, warming ginger, firewood smoke and dark chocolate. The finish is full of ashy notes, with coconut and banana yogurt.
