From GlenAllachie Distillery, this 8 year old whisky has been maturing in American Oak Casks and then finished in Organic Rye Quarter Casks from Chicago's Koval Distillery. The nose offers notes of spices, warming cinnamon and nutmeg and sweet and creamy honey and butterscotch; a unique mingling of the GlenAllachie spirit and rye cask spice. The palate carries through these notes and adds touches of cooking apples and cloves to the palate. This specially selected whisky from Billy Walker is a limited release.
