The much anticipated lineup from the GlenAllachie distillery has now arrived. Under the new ownership of famed Master Distiller Billy Walker, GlenAllachie has for the first time released an exciting range of single malt whiskies. This 12 year old represents the classic style of GlenAllachie - a gentle nose of perfumed, aromatic honey, and butterscotch are joined by raisins and mocha coming through in the background. To taste, the palate is soft and initially sweet, again honeyed, with marzipan and bananas joined by a mirroring of flavours from its nose. The finish is drying, with orange peel and delicate oak lingering.
