Unnamed Orkney 'Signatory' 2006 / 12 years old 46%

Bottled by Signatory Vintage from an unnamed, distillery on the Orkney Isles, this secret single malt was laid down into a combination of ex-Hogshead casks that matured for 12 years. A sweet start to the aroma of freshly malted barley - biscuity and toasted, with a thread of smoke underneath and a mineral, oily quality. A touch of heather honey comes through, finishing on a drying herbal and salty finish.
