Teeling Pot Still 46%

This is the first release from Teeling's new distillery in Dublin. The Single Pot Still is made from 50% unmalted spring barley and 50% malted barley which is then triple distilled and matured in a combination of virgin oak, ex-wine and ex-bourbon barrels. The nose has notes of hibiscus flowers, honeycomb, white grapes and uplifting grapefruit and citrus. The palate has lychee, white grapes and white pepper. The finish is dry with warming spice, roasted almonds and sweet maple sugar.
