One of the second batch of whiskies in the 'Infrequent Flyers' series, a brand new independent bottling company from Alistair Walker, this Port Dundas was drawn from a single hogshead after 24 years of maturation.
Port Dundas distillery was a Single Grain distillery which produced between 1811 and 2011, stock from the distillery is now hard to come by, and known for its quality.
On the nose we find almonds, Parma violet sweets, nail polish.
To taste; cherry Bakewell tarts & Demerara sugar. Marzipan, honey & vanilla.
The finish is warm, long, and quite oily.
Only 260 bottles were filled.
