Kininvie 23 years old 42.6% 350ml

At the time of its construction in 1990 by William Grant & Sons, the family owners of the Glenfiddich distillery, Kininvie was not intended to be released as a single malt, instead its production was destined for blending purposes. In the last few years the family have made available just 3 releases from the distillery, and batch no. 3 marks the first Kininvie we have had on our shelves. The style of whisky made at the distillery is light, delicate and floral with a creamy vanilla-toffee sweetness and a long, quite dry citrus-y and oaky mouthfeel and finish. This is one of the rarest expressions available from a currently operational distillery in Speyside.
