The Edradour distillery has every claim to the title of Scotland's wee gem, its two small stills are situated at the heart of the Highlands in Pitlochry. Their 'Straight From the Cask' series is all about capturing the essence of Edradour's whisky in it's most natural form, bottled from individual casks after 10 years of maturation. The flavour is immediately like that of an old-fashioned Christmas cake, with hints of turkish delight, rich with dried fruits and warm with spicy notes from the sherry cask it has been matured in.
