PRODUCT DETAILS
Distilled at the Edradour distillery near Pitlochry on the 9th of May 2007, this heavily peated whisky has been matured in a single French Bordeaux cask for 11 years. The aroma starts with a slightly medicinal note, before moving on to a rich combination of caramelised dark fruits and a background of herbal peat smoke. The fruit flavours come through on the palate, before a burst of farm-yard peat smoke takes over. Bottled at its natural cask strength if 58.9%, straight from the cask, this is a big and bold dram from the team at Edradour.
