Glenturret is one of the few distilleries in the Highland's that produce a peated spirit, and this new expression showcases this unique style. The aroma starts with notes of an old peat bonfire, with hints of tar/bitumen and a warming sweet toffee and cream note. The initial mouthfeel and taste is a surge of sweet smoke, moving on to a lingering and lightly peaty savoury-salty feeling in the finish.
