From Speyside distillery Glentauchers, Cadenhead?s brings us this 11 year old single malt whisky. The nose has a warmth to it, with notes of banana loaf, barley and a sweetness from marshmallow. This sweetness is carried through to the palate, offering up candy cane, root ginger and apple skin notes. To balance out the sweetness the finish is peppery with fresh citrus notes.
