James Grant, 'The Major', was only 25 when he inherited the Glen Grant Distillery in Rothes, and it was he who designed the innovative, tall, slender stills that Glen Grant is famous for. These stills contribute to the characteristics of this smooth and fruity malt that has flavours of fresh vanilla, apple and hazelnut.
