PRODUCT DETAILS
From the Elements of Islay range this bottling is from Caol Ila distillery. This whisky has been maturing in two refill sherry butts and has been bottled at 57.5%. The nose has notes of saltwater, sour apple sweets, rhubarb and custard. The palate has notes of astringent smoke, salt, orchard fruits and fresh citrus which mingle with cold smoke meat notes. The finish is peaty, with lemon, coal dust, fresh herbs and grapefruit.
